The Role:

Deputy Manager required to join a team in running a residential children’s home supporting a child – 1 bed service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Manager in the day to day running of the home, ensuring a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for the children in our care. The Deputy Manager is expected to deputise in the absence of the Manager, and ensuring high standards are maintained. The Deputy Manager will be crucial in guiding and developing the homes team, hence has an extremely crucial role in staff development, consistency and quality of practice, rota management, the recruitment, retention, and management of staff.

It is essential that the Deputy Manager acts as a role model to all residential staff in terms of professional conduct and expected standards of practice delivery.

Additionally, as a Deputy Manager you will play a vital role in the day-to-day care and support of our children and young people. You will provide a nurturing and stable environment, ensuring their safety and well-being. Your responsibilities will include providing emotional support, assisting with daily activities, promoting positive behaviour, and coordinating with other professionals involved in the child’s care.
