About you:
We are looking to recruit a values-led, resourceful, motivated OT; with experience in mental health, who enjoys new challenges and who has an understanding of the value of being engaged in meaningful occupations. This role requires compassion, enthusiasm, creativity and proactivity. As an Occupational Therapist, you will support our patients to engage in self-care, productive and recreational groups. This will be achieved through the planning and facilitation of 1:1 and group interventions. You will work alongside the Occupational Therapist and members of the multidisciplinary team to identify the patients’ Occupational Needs.

Providing quality, inspiring innovative practice, and delivering value is what we set out to achieve. Enabling our patients with dementia and mental health to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment and care, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams. The post holder will be qualified and registered with HCPC with preferred experience in dementia and mental health care. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills when liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team, external agencies and organisations, patients, and relatives.
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract Type: Permanent
