We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly within nursing homes or assisted living environments. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Duties
– Lead and manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
– Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with residents and their families.
– Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care, providing training and guidance as needed.
– Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to health and safety regulations.
– Monitor the wellbeing of residents, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
– Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and staff performance.
– Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to promote a community-focused approach to care.
– Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
Experience
– Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursing home or assisted living setting is essential.
– Strong understanding of care plans, medication administration, and senior care practices.
– Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams effectively.
– Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with residents, families, and staff members.
– A relevant qualification in health or social care management is desirable but not mandatory.
